About Turkish Towels

Turkish towels, also known as Peshtemals, were first invented in Bursa, Turkey, back in the 17th century. They were used in Turkish baths "Hammam" due to their high-absorbent ability and full length, making them easy to wrap around the body quickly. Peshetmals are made with finely loomed Turkish cotton using traditional methods, while the fabric is incredibly thin, Turkish towels can absorb water and dry better compared to commonly used towels. The fibers enable air to pass through it quickly, making it ultra-soft and skin-friendly. Also, made with chemical-free dyes, these towels are safe for you as well as the environment.

Turkey is world renowned for their towels, for centuries. Since the 17th century, a lot of varieties and patterns of towels have been introduced.  Even though there are so many different commercially available styles and options, Turkish towels continue to be among the top choices of people around the world for their breathability, softness, and comfort.
